The Battlefield

I am an unconquerable fighter
Waiting for the most honorable death.
My dad always tells me about Abhimanyu,

Killed by a warrior and six cowards.
I am an inborn warrior and not a coward
Like a hawk with the powerful predator instinct.
None is stronger than real fighter like what I am.
Hence, many people are afraid of my bravery.
Some say, “Do not open our corrupted deeds.”
Some say, “I curse you if you still want to die with that kind of death.”
All is hogwash at a glance,
That I always deny them,
Willing not to gang up with the cowards.
I may have to die like Abhimanyu,
Flinging down the gauntlet.
Thousands swords and arrows may destroy my corpse,
But it will never be deceased.
