A thanksgiving for Judas

After the feast, Judas chose to betray,

Selling Christ for silver without delay.

A kiss of deceit marked his cruel part, And Christ was taken, breaking many a heart.

Sold out... the echoes of betrayal ring, Judas's act, a sorrowful sting. But even in his darkest deed, God's plan of salvation would proceed.

In heaven's realm, beyond our sight, A thanksgiving awaits, even for Judas's plight. For through his sin, though grave and grim, Salvation's light began to dim.
